My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME***
Currently in Boise boarding kennels

MIA is a medium-sized, 43-lb, young border collie mix gal who is a little anxious about her new surroundings. We noticed that her anxiety increases as we walked by kids yelling on the playyard.
She seems to calm as her walk progresses.

At this time, a calm home with no small children is best so that she can decompress and show her true colors.

MIA is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines, so ready for her forever home.

Volunteers may assist with transport out of area.

Go meet their pets

Application is required before meeting the dog with a volunteer, but the public can visit the business anytime that they are open and ask if employees have time to show the dog. We bring the foster dogs to offsite events for promotion.

More about this shelter

Owners of Emerald Street Kennels accept foster dogs at their place of business. Volunteers walk and promote the dogs for adoption while staff/employees feed and care for the dogs while they wait for their forever family.
