My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What do you see when you look at Little Button? Do you see beyond an odd-looking black cat with a strange marking on her nose and sad, beautiful, emerald eyes? In our rescue, we see a gentle survivor of the alley streets where cats are often discarded, abandoned or neglected. Sweet little Button was on her last breath when she was found by rescuers who was astounded at her desire to live. Despite being malnourished, unkempt and covered with blemishes, those emerald eyes blazed with determination to keep breathing. Faced with such an indomitable spirit in a broken body, rescuers carried little Button in foster care. With influx of medication, nutritious meals and time to recovery, little Button plumped up and her fur coat grew glossy and thick again. She is now a healthy, beautiful black, urban panther with the sweetest temperament. The only remnants of her sad past lay in her scalloped ears and the blaze marking on her nose. We believe this is a survivor's badge of courage and we love the pixie charm it gives to her little furry face. We are actively looking for a first time cat owner or a quiet home for our Little Button. She is a very peaceful, quiet little kitty with a lot of affection to give. She is very low maintenance but sweet-tempered and will easily fit into a loving household where she can spend the rest of her life being pampered by loving owners. She gets along with other older cats. Come and meet our sweet little survivor by texting 214 621 1139. More about this rescue

Our Mission Statement:
To match every cat or kitten within our foster program with a permanent, loving family.

We are a small network of rescue volunteers based in the DFW area who are banding together to foster and adopt out rescued cats and kittens!

Our cats and kittens come to us under a variety of conditions: Some of our cats were rescued from hoarding situations or surrendered by their owners, while others were found by good Samaritans after being dumped and abandoned. Some of our mother cats were tossed out, pregnant and malnourished, because their owners never spayed them and did not want litters of kittens in their homes. Our luckiest kittens were born inside our fosters' homes and have known nothing but love and affection from humans. Each of our cats and kittens has been through a big journey and has a unique story to tell.

We all work towards a common goal of finding these sweet, loving cats a wonderful forever home where they will be cherished and pampered for the rest of their lives.
