This shepherd–husky mix is sunshine wrapped in fluff, with energy for days and a personality that keeps life interesting. She’s super puppy-like, loves to play, and fully believes every moment is the perfect moment for fun.
Loud noises can make her pause and say, “Um… what was THAT?” — but she adjusts quickly with a little reassurance. She’s smart and eager, but will need continued training and structure to help her grow into her best self.
True to her husky roots, Stormy may have a touch of escape-artist curiosity, so a secure yard and watchful eye are a must. She can also get over-excited and start “talking smack” — this girl is not a quiet one! Expect sass, commentary, and dramatic storytelling.
We’re unsure how she does with other dogs, cats, or kids — but we’re happy to give it a shot with proper introductions.

If all goes well during your meet n' greet, you will finish the adoption process and take your new pet home.

Our current adoption fees are:
Dogs over 5mo & over 35lb - $125
Dog over 5mo & under 35 - $175
Senior Dog (7 yrs and older) - $75
Puppy (5 mo and under) - $200
Cats (over 5 mo to 1 yr) - $65
Cats (over 1 yr) - $50
Senior Cat (7 yrs and older) - $35
Kitten (5 mo and under) - $85
All adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, Rabies vaccine, and microchip.
Dogs coming from out-of-state will have an additional $20 charge to cover a six-month prescription of heartworm prevention.

Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.
As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.
Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
