He knows basic commands, is very food‑motivated, and loves toys/balls—especially Benebones. I acquired Teddy from a breeder in Lancaster Pennsylvania. He is an enthusiastic chewer and will need durable toys. He can be vocal at times and may bark when startled, confined, or excited by other dogs (usually to play). He may show some guarding behaviors and mild anxiety, but his vet believes he will do well with consistent behavior training and structure. He does best with clear boundaries and reassurance. He comes from a home with an energetic 6‑year‑old and enjoys running and playing. He does well alone for 2–4 hours and sleeps comfortably in his crate near his people at night. With patience, training, and love, he will make a wonderful companion.
