After dodging cars on a busy road in Georgia, Essie can’t believe how lucky she is to be safe in a foster home. She can’t wait to share her love, affection, and gentle curiosity with her forever family.
Essie loves staying active and going on walks, but she’s also happy to cuddle on the couch. She’s house-trained, has great manners, and gets along well with other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet.

Sochi Dogs is a non-profit animal rescue that works closely with adopters to help them find the perfect addition to their families. All of our dogs are vetted, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
Dog ownership is a long-term commitment so we take our adopters’ needs very seriously. We work on a foster to adopt basis, which allows adopters to get to know their new dog in a relaxed family setting.
For us, the most important things are finding the right family for the right dog. As long as it’s a good match we’re happy to adopt a dog out of state.
