My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

F - 2 years old - Brown Tabby Domestic Shorthair -

Mariah is a sweet and resilient girl who is an inspiration for all. Though she needed her front leg amputated, she hasn’t let it slow her down one bit. She has adjusted beautifully to life on three legs. She moves around with determination, grace, and the kind of quiet confidence that leaves you in awe!

She doesn’t see herself as different, and once you meet her, you won’t either. She climbs, explores, relaxes, and loves just like any other young cat. The only thing she’s missing is a forever home where she can feel safe, adored, and cherished for the amazing girl she is.

More about this shelter

Our state-of-the-art adoption center lovingly cares for up to 150 animals at a time. With advanced sanitizing technologies, air filtration systems and professional staff and volunteers, the Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center proudly serves as the leading animal care facility in the Valley.

The Clovis Animal Receiving & Care Center at 908 Villa works to return lost animals to their owners. When that’s not possible, the division works to place unclaimed animals with new owners through the adoption program at the Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center.
