Our 2 year old Fawn is a wonderful companion who enjoys spending time beside her human. This affectionate girl loves pets and is in all her glory when sitting on your lap. If she's not next to you, she's probably prancing around on her daily adventures around the house, checking out anything that might seem interesting. Oh yes, Fawn is a curious kitty who must know every inch of your home!
Fawn would do great in a setting where there’s lots of space to roam about and where she can receive lots of attention. She is a fan of bird watching, catnip, and afternoon naps. She times her meals perfectly, and will happily remind you with a meow if you're behind schedule. She would do best with someone who picks up on her cues and appreciates her boundaries when she is ready to do her own thing. Same Fawn, same!

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Our adoption coordinators verify home ownership OR obtain landlord's approval and check a vet reference as part of our approval process

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
