My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💕 Meet Hope — A Little Spark of Love and Joy 💕

Hope is a four-month-old bundle of sweetness with a heart as warm as a Valentine hug. Gentle, affectionate, and endlessly cuddly, she’s the kind of kitten who turns ordinary moments into something soft and special just by being nearby.

This lovable girl adores playtime and can often be found happily batting her favorite spring toys across the floor with joyful determination. She’s also quite the little helper around the house. Cleaning the litter box or getting ready in the bathroom? Hope will be right there on the counter, carefully “combing” your hair with her paws, always gentle and never using her claws. She simply wants to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Curious and adventurous, Hope enjoys exploring every corner of the home before settling into her favorite place of all: your lap. Once she’s there, the purring begins and the world slows down into pure cuddle time.

Hope does wonderfully with other cats, isn’t bothered by dogs, and would thrive in homes ranging from peaceful and quiet to lively and active. Most of all, she dreams of a forever family where love is always within reach.

Hope is fully vetted for her age — spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, vaccinated, flea treated, and dewormed — and ready to begin her happily-ever-after. Her adoption fee is $250, or $400 for her and her sister, Faith, as a pair, because some hearts are simply meant to stay together.

If your home could use a little extra warmth, a little extra joy, and a whole lot of love this Valentine’s season… Hope is waiting for you. 💕

If you’d like, I can also make a combined Valentine Facebook post for Faith & Hope together that fits your usual Oakbrook style.

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
