My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Ocean is a super smart and sweet boy. He was very high energy when he first came home with me but after a day filled with walks and playtime, he has mostly just wanted to snooze.
He picked up rules like sitting and waiting before entering or leaving the apartment and staying off the furniture within 12 hours. He is also excellent on leash. If he does get exuberant and pulls a bit, all you have to do is stop and stand still for a minute for him to remember his manners. He loves people and is thrilled anytime someone stops to tell him how handsome he is. He seems indifferent to others dogs, though we didn't get very close to any of them.
While Ocean sometimes plays the clown and tries to chew on his harness and leash when you're getting him ready to go out, he understands "drop it" and will gladly trade for a piece of kibble. He also sometimes gets a little mouthy in play, but he gets quickly redirected with an appropriate toy. Turning away from him a couple of times was all it took for him to stop jumping up on me.
He wasn't alone much while I was with him but the few times I left him to take out the garbage, get the mail, and other short errands, he didn't show signs of separation anxiety. I live in a studio so he could see me most of the time, but when I was in the bathroom with the door closed, he sat outside calmly and waited for me.
Ocean was largely quiet, though a couple of times when my neighbors across the hall came and went, he heard them and barked. But the bark became shorter and quieter the more times he heard them and realized we were okay. He is a true prince.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!
