Kershaw is a sweet and stoic older cat looking for a calm new home. Kershaw has previously lived with other cats and dogs and did well. It seems she would prefer to be with a male kitty partner if there is a cat in the home and if there is a dog in the home, a cat-savy dog or a dog that would like to simply coexist with her. Kershaw does best in quiet home environments and is motivated to form a bond with her person through offerings of wet food and treats (LOVES a good Churu). A home with low traffic and a serene environment would be an ideal setting.

Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
