Smart, affectionate, & full of energy, Theo would do best as the only dog in an experienced adopter’s home. I've had him 5 months; he isn’t compatible with my large dogs. He had separation anxiety & lots of energy when younger & thrived in the suburbs, enjoying dog parks, pumpkin patches, & outings with other dogs/ people. After moving to the city, long crates & short walks made him reactive outdoors & possessive indoors. He has chronic Lyme disease & needs a calm, structured home. He’s very treat-motivated, enjoys learning new tricks, loves affection, & is making some progress with anxiety & resource guarding. He jumps/ barks at home whens he unsure of something & may bark or pull on walks if he sees someone unfamiliar, but he can be redirected with guidance & lots of treats! Theo hasn’t had a stable home without other dogs in his 6 yrs and needs special help to thrive. He'll be your little happy shadow!
