Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Auggie is an adorable coonhound/corgi mix who came to us from Ozarks Pet Rescue after being surrendered by his owner, and he’s truly the whole package. This sweet, playful puppy is full of charm and ready to start his next chapter with a loving family.
As a mix of two spirited breeds, we anticipate Auggie will grow into an active, fun-loving dog who would thrive with a family that enjoys staying on the move—walks, playtime, adventures, and plenty of engagement will be right up his alley. True to his puppy nature, he’s affectionate, curious, and eager to experience the world.
Auggie does great with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful fit for many different types of homes. Like all puppies, he’ll do best with a family committed to continuing his training so he can grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
If you’re looking for a happy, friendly, adventure-ready pup with a heart of gold, Auggie is ready to join your family. 🐾💛
All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.
Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.
Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
