Take the Pet Home
This helps St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines with pet care costs.
Linaria is a stunning 10yearold torti who has been through a lot. She was recently surrendered due to her owner’s financial hardship, and despite all the changes in her life she has remained sweet, resilient, and hopeful for a fresh start. A few years ago she had surgery to remove an ear polyp, and as a temporary side effect she developed Horner’s Syndrome. This caused her pupils to dilate differently and sometimes made the third eyelid on her right eye more visible. She has fully recovered since then and it does not affect her quality of life.
Linaria does alight with one or two calm cats, but she would truly shine as an only cat. She is a classic sassy torti who loves attention, enjoys lap time when she feels like it, and prefers not to be picked up. Because she has clear boundaries, a home without small children would be the best fit for her.
She is so ready for a quiet, loving home where she can finally relax and be cherished for the amazing girl she is.
Come and meet me @ St. Sophia's Cat Room (525 W Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton, IL) Pro Tip: Submit an application beforehand for a seamless adoption process!
Adoption Information
Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.
Adoption Fees
Kittens (under 6 months): $150
Adults (over 6 months): $125
Seniors / Special Needs: $75
Please Note:
We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.
Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
