My story

Breed: Great Pyrenees mix

Weight: 50 lbs

Any impairments: deaf

Potty trained? Yes

Crate trained? Does not like a crate

Good with other dogs? Yes, his size or larger

Good with cats? No

Good with kids? Yes, ages 9/10 or older

Commands known: sit no potty come lay down and working on stay

Needs fenced in yard? Preferred

Need another dog in the home? Not required but he would probably be happiest with a playmate

Baloo's life is a testament to resilience. From surviving the streets of Oklahoma to overcoming parvo, this incredible boy has emerged stronger.

Now, he's thriving with 3 dogs, demonstrating his adaptability. As a smart and sometimes stubborn Great Pyrenees, Baloo is learning commands and growing. He adores outdoor activities, from playful adventures to relaxing in the grass. This sweet boy gives heartwarming kisses, walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides.

Baloo awaits a patient and loving family to support him through his training. A loving, consistent leader who is ready to find their best friend in a 4 legged white, ball of fluff!!

Is that you??

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of our adoptable pets are in a foster home, and for that reason an application must be submitted before a meeting can be arranged. Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt it simply tells us a little about you and the type of home you have to offer a new pet.

As a rescue it is our goal to carefully go over your application to be assured that it is a perfect fit for both the pet and you and/or your family. Our foster homes are able to easily evaluate each pet to quickly find out their likes and dislikes which is vital information to a successful adoption.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to do what we can to put an end to careless breeding that over populated the streets and local shelters. Sometimes we come across a pet that has "special needs" and our goal is to educate the public that "special needs" dogs are capable of doing anything you wish as long as you provide the proper training and have the patience needed to coincide with the training. Our inspiration her name is Dhalia and she is a lethal white Australian shepherd that is a result of merle to merle breeding. Sadly 25% of puppies born with this genetic make-up are predisposed to sight and/or hearing deficiencies. Speak! for the Unspoken has successfully fostered, rehabilitates and re-homed many animals both "normal" and "special needs"
