Meet Toffee❤️
💙 Adogs News: @_adogs_

1⃣ Health Condition
* Neutered.
* Currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, anaplasmosis, coronavirus, and giardia.

2⃣ Rescue Story
* Toffee was staying at the Gimje City Shelter. When found, he was shivering in the cold, desperately waiting for a helping hand. Because the shelter environment was vulnerable to freezing temperatures and infectious diseases, Adogs stepped in to rescue him urgently.

3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Was very timid and shy right after rescue, but he now accepts touch well. Even comes close to rub against people for pets.
* With Dogs: Doesn’t fight with friends, but he is a bit guarded around food, so he isn't "besties" with them yet. May need some training regarding this in the future.
* With Cats: Has not met a cat yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Currently lives in a group at our center, so it’s hard to tell. May need training once he moves into a home.
* Potty Training: Since he just arrived at our center, he isn't used to potty pads yet. New training will likely be needed in a new environment.
* Hygiene: Handled his first bath and grooming well right after rescue.
* Walks: Hasn't had the chance to go on walks yet since arriving at our center.
* Car Sickness: Shows no specific signs of motion sickness.
* Growls at friends to protect his food, but shows no signs of aggression or biting.
* Sometimes barks at outside noises but stops quickly when corrected.
* Is still quite timid, so he can feel overwhelmed by intense or sudden displays of affection.
* Absolutely loves eating! Also enjoys playing with squeaky toys.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.
"Adopting an abandoned dog will not change the world but this can change the dog's world"

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
