My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kroger
(Also known as Krogie, Koko, and Krugs — depending on the level of affection happening at the moment.)

Yes, that Kroger.
Named after the grocery store because his life quite literally started in a parking lot, dodging cars instead of shopping carts. A tiny kitten trying to survive the chaos, until someone noticed the gentle little face hiding behind the fear… and discovered he was never meant for the streets at all.

Kroger — or Krogie when he’s feeling extra baby — is one of those cats whose personality feels like a deep exhale.
He’s calm, soft-hearted and quietly affectionate. He doesn’t demand attention, he simply gravitates toward you, settles nearby, and lets you realize you needed him there. Pet him and he melts!

Call him “Koko” in a sweet voice and he’ll blink at you slowly like you’re his whole world. Brush him and he enters another dimension entirely.
He has the sweetest little freckles on his nose, and if you’re lucky enough to see them up close, it means you’ve been accepted into his circle.

Other Animals? Kroger says yes please. Kroger believes every cat is already his friend. No warm-up period. No politics. No drama. He approaches new cats with gentle curiosity and total respect, very submissive and socially fluent. The kind of cat that actually helps other cats feel comfortable.

Dogs? High-energy chaos makes him nervous, but a calm, polite dog with slow introductions could absolutely earn his trust.

Kids? He’s done well with older kids who understand soft hands and quiet moments.

Secret Life of Kroger: Most of the day he is serenity in cat form, perched in his favorite hammock like a tiny monk observing the world.
But occasionally…when no one is paying attention…the spirit of the parking-lot survivor returns. A sudden zoomie, a toy ambush, a quick dash across the room. Then immediately back to being composed and dignified as if it never happened.

Kroger isn’t the loudest cat in the room. He’s the one who becomes your cat.
The one who sleeps beside you. Greets you gently. Finds comfort in simply being near.

After a rough start in a place full of noise and movement, he’s ready for a home full of soft routines, cozy perches, and people who appreciate a peaceful little companion with a playful secret side.
Kroger (Krogie, Koko, Krugs) is ready to clock out of parking lot life… and permanently check into yours

Kroger is estimated to be about 1 years old (as of Jan 26). He is fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea-free. She tested negative for FeLV, FIV, and heartworms.
