*This animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, St. Louis Park PetSmart. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page.
Furnando is filled with love and lots of kitten energy for playtime. He loves high
jumping to various wand toys and enjoys playing with our older resident cats and
fosters. He also loves to be picked up, held, and pet. During nightly TV time, he loves
cuddling on your nap and then sleeping with us in bed at bedtime. He is a really sweet
and social kitten that loves everyone, adults and kids alike.
Furnando is highly food and treat motivated, and not picky about foods. He is very smart
and a fast learner. Some of Furnandos favorites toys include fuzzy mice, soft balls, and
climbing on cat trees, the higher the better. He loves to talk and tell you about this day,
or remind you that it’s feeding time.
If you're ready for a fun loving kitten that really enjoys the companionship of adults,
children, and cats alike, he’s your guy! He’s a very well-rounded, friendly kitten. He
does very well at adoption events and handles car rides with no complaints.
Furnando is from Houston, TX.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
