Meet Valor

Valor is currently decompressing and learning what it truly means to feel safe. After everything he’s been through, he’s soaking up the simple joys of life — three meals a day, gentle affection, room to explore, and a soft bed to rest his head on.

This handsome boy has a sweet, calm demeanor that instantly warms your heart. He’s been loving everyone he’s met so far and thrives on quiet attention and reassuring pets. Valor is discovering that people can be kind, and he leans into that kindness more each day.

Because he’s still building confidence, Valor doesn’t like to be startled or surprised. If something catches him off guard, he may yelp out of uncertainty. He does best with slow movements, gentle voices, and patient reassurance.

Valor would flourish in a calm, predictable home where he can continue to decompress at his own pace. With time, love, and consistency, this gentle soul will blossom into the loyal, devoted companion he’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, peaceful pup to share your home and heart, Valor may be your perfect match.

More about this rescue

Just Giant Rescue Inc (JGRI) is a dog rescue catering to giant breed dogs. We don’t discriminate against breed, but they must be giants such as the regal Great Dane, loyal Mastiff, and clownish Saint Bernard, to name a few.

We strive to follow the 3 R’s.
• Rescuing. We rescue from all types of situations, owner surrenders, and from local shelters. We strive to help as many as we can, with what resources we have available.
• Rehabilitating. All dogs are fostered inside loving homes, becoming temporary family members. They are fully vet checked, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and guarded against heartworm, fleas and ticks. They are also given a temperament test prior to being eligible for adoption.
• Re-homing. Each dog is individually matched with the best suited adoptive home for them. Each applicant wanting to adopt must fill out an application and complete a home check prior to being approved.
