Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frosty is an absolutely adorable little fluff ball—a male Bichon mix puppy who came to us from Ozarks Pet Rescue. His story starts with his mama, who was part of a group of small dogs tragically dumped in the woods and humanely trapped over several weeks. Little did anyone know she was pregnant—she gave birth shortly after, on Christmas Eve, making Frosty a true holiday miracle baby.
Frosty (and his siblings) are as sweet as they come. He’s snuggly, affectionate, and loves everyone he meets, greeting people with a wagging tail and puppy enthusiasm. He’s a typical playful, curious puppy who’s eager to explore the world and soak up love along the way.
Like all puppies, Frosty will thrive in a home committed to continuing his training so he can grow into a well-mannered, confident adult dog. As a fluffy-coated pup, he’ll also need a family dedicated to lifelong grooming and coat maintenance to keep him comfortable and healthy.
Important notes:
Frosty is currently available as foster-to-adopt only to a home within 30 minutes of our shelter while we complete his medical care.
We do not adopt puppies to households with another dog under 6 months old due to the risk of littermate syndrome.
If you’re ready for puppy kisses, cozy snuggles, and the commitment that comes with raising a fluffy little companion, Frosty is ready to melt your heart. 💙🐾
All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.
Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.
Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
