If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This extremely friendly, smart, playful young, stray pup, sought me out when I recently moved into a rental home. Note: I cannot take in another pet at this time. She quickly established trust and is now crawling up on my lap for pets. She is frequently in play stance with my leased dogs, when we are out, and they sniff each other freely. She also learned to fetch a ball after just a few throws! I took her to a local vet to get her scanned for a chip. She didn’t have one. They completed an exam, said she was between 12 and 18 months old, not spayed, not pregnant, and she appears to be healthy. They gave her a rabies shot and flee, tick and heartworm medication. She has a wonderful temperament and she will be an easily trainable, loyal, cuddly companion! I’m willing to sponsor a validated low cost spay procedure and pain Rx.
