This handsome lad is Gustav! He came to the shelter as a stray and is now ready to find his furever home. Gustav is a big puppy who still has growing and learning ahead of him. He is super outgoing and friendly, but needs some work on his manners because he gets a bit too excited and plays rough sometimes. He has also exhibited some guarding of high-value treats, and will need any children in the home to be 13 and older who will respect his boundaries and help him to make progress in training. He is open to possibly living with another dog, and although we are not sure how he feels about cats, he is willing to try with proper introduction. Gustav is a very sweet abd smart dog with major potential to be a wonderful companion. If he sounds like your cup of tea, then come on over and meet him soon!
