My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salina is a happy, lovable young pup who is off to a great start with her training! Crate training and leash walking are both going well. She’s still very much a puppy, so a few accidents and typical puppy behaviors are to be expected, but she’s incredibly smart and easy to redirect. She’s already pawing at the door when she wants to go outside for potty time, which is such a great sign!

She does wonderful with kids (ages 5 and 8 in her foster home). Like any puppy, she can get a little mouthy when she’s excited or giving kisses, so she’ll need continued reminders and redirection, but she responds quickly and wants to please.

Salina loves snuggles just as much as she loves playtime. When meeting strangers, she may be slightly apprehensive at first, but with a proper introduction she warms up and happily accepts pets and scratches.

She is very playful and absolutely LOVES being outside, especially playing in the snow! She enjoys all kinds of toys and may occasionally “borrow” a shoe if given the opportunity.

Sweet, playful, lovable, and full of fun, Salina has those adorable oversized puppy paws and the cutest slightly clumsy, tumbly run while she grows into them. She’s a fast learner, very people-oriented, and truly loves her humans.

Salina would make a wonderful addition to almost any home ready for all the joy (and adorable chaos!) that comes with raising a young puppy.

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
