Stinkin' adorable Beck is a former community cat who was brought to AAS with an intussusception (part of the small intestines and cecum were telescoped into the colon). This was causing an occasional prolapse through the rectum, so surgery was performed to correct the problem, and the removed tissue was healthy and viable.
Beck made a complete recovery in foster care, and is now a very energetic, happy cat. He is social with people and other cats, is playful, and has a delightful personality.
Although it's not anticipated that a prolapse will occur again, if Beck experiences any diarrhea, it should be treated, so that the intestinal motility doesn't increase, which would predispose to this condition. His 'normal' poops are soft yet formed.
Beck is a Desperate Housecat and his adoption fee is waived.
