Hazel was fostered by my family through a rescue. He’s a beautiful cat with dark orange and white fur. He was born in June 2020. Hazel’s always been a bit in the skittish side but friendly and would hang out close by and seek attention every so often. After Hazel, we adopted two more cats for a total of 6 cats in our household. I think that’s when things began to breakdown. Hazel is a good boy. Never aggressive. Quiet, loves wet food, treats, and interested in toys. He loves other cats, but we feel that he feels drowned out by the others. While the others sleep next to us, Hazel hides. He doesn’t seek out pets or affection anymore. Yet, if you hold him he enjoys being pet and purrs. Therefore we feel that a home with less cats might be more suitable for him. We would love to see him bond with his human(s). We think he’d do best in a patient, stable home with older children (8 yrs+) or no children, few hiding spots, either be an only cat or have 1-2 other cats, and indoor only.
