My husband and I adopted Juno in April of 2022, she was 1.5 years old. At the time we lived on the Oregon coast in what we thought was our forever house. Fast forward to today, we have moved 2 times since then trying to find stable work and are on the cusp of a 3rd move at the end of February. It is necessary for us to relocate out of state to find employment opportunities. Juno has brought us so much joy. She is quiet, small for her breed (40lbs) and seeks solitude. She is not nearly as vocal as a typical husky. She never barks at the door bell or someone coming into the house. She spends a lot of time outside. She is smart and will let us know when she needs/wants to go outside. Our yard is not fenced so she is always on a long leash. She is not food motivated like most dogs, somedays she eats once a day. She likes to be around us but does not get on our lap or follow us from roomtoroom unless she needs to go outside. She is smart, mellow, loving & has never destroyed anything.
