Tango is with our rescue partner down south and can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter for him.

Tango— From Cane Field to Companion

Meet Tango, one of six adorable Heeler/Cur mix puppies who started life together in a sugar cane field. Today, thanks to rescue and a loving foster home, she's ready to find a forever family and fill it with joy.

All the puppies are cute, playful, and full of life — always wagging that happy little tail! They love to play with their siblings and all get along beautifully with the other dogs in the foster home. Friendly, affectionate, and endlessly curious, they bring sunshine wherever they go.

Whether it’s playtime in the yard or cuddle time on the couch, they are happiest just being close to the people they love. All of these pups are going to make a lucky family very, very happy. â¤ï¸

They are available for adoption now — and ready to make your home feel whole.

All the puppies are up to date on vaccines and have been treated for puppy parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange for spay/neuter and microchip at 5-6 months of age at The Spay and Neuter Center of New Jersey in Holmdel. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. Their adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
