My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION FEE: $20

Meet Stormy, a sweet senior 8 year old budgie who is looking for a calm, loving retirement home with other budgie friends. Stormy has not had much out of cage time in her past, so her wings are weak and she is not able to fly well right now. When she tries, she tends to tumble to the ground, but she is an excellent little climber and gets around her space with determination. With patience, safety, and time, she may gain some strength, but her future family should be prepared to support her just as she is.

Stormy is a quiet, reserved girl who can be a bit wary in new environments. Once she feels safe, she enjoys simply being part of the flock and listening to the world around her. She would truly thrive in a home with other gentle budgies to keep her company and help her feel secure.

One of Stormy's favourite things is music. She especially loves country and rock, and you will often find her quietly enjoying the tunes from her perch. Stormy is looking for a peaceful home that will give her patience, kindness, and companionship for her remaining years. Her forever family must provide a healthy diet, daily out of cage time, plenty of social interaction, and a spacious cage she can (try to) fly around in.
