🔭🐕Meet Chewy — a tiny Wookiee in a Chihuahua mix body. With his medium-length, wiry brown coat and those soulful little eyes, he looks like he just stepped off the Millennium Falcon… but landed in a shelter instead.🛸
🙈Chewy is brand new to this whole shelter thing, and honestly? It’s a little overwhelming for a small guy. Right now he’s shy and taking it all in, but underneath that cautious exterior is a very sweet, very smart little dog who’s already starting to show his true personality.
His favorite person here says he’s been coming out of his shell more every day. He’s treat motivated (the way to his heart is definitely snacks), and he’s already proving how clever he is. 🥓He’s been walking right out of his kennel and heading to the door like a polite little gentleman — listening, learning, and trying his best.
☮️Chewy just needs a calm home, a little patience, and someone who understands that even brave heroes need time to adjust. Once he feels safe, we think this tiny Wookiee is going to be fiercely loyal, loving, and maybe even a little goofy.

The purpose of the Humane Society of Tipton County is to assist with animal control and care of stray,feral and abandoned cats; stray and abandoned dogs; and assist in locating lost dogs and cats within the county limits of Tipton County. To communicate to the public as well as assist and encourage compliance of all animal ordinances of the City of Tipton and Tipton County. To educate and communicate humane care and ownership responsibilities for all domesticated animals within Tipton County limits. To offer shelter and medical services of animals housed in the Tipton County Animal Shelter.
