Here's what the humans have to say about me:
💌 A Valentine from Aspen 💌
Dear Future Forever Family,
Let me guard your heart. 🔐
I promise I’ll take that job very seriously. Once you’re in my circle, you’re mine in the very best way. I’m loyal to my core, the kind of girl who will stay by your side and keep a watchful eye on the world around us. You’ll never wonder where my heart is… it’ll be right there with you. 💞
I’m a beautiful shepherd mix (I’ve been told I’m quite stunning, but I try to stay humble). I’m incredibly smart, happy, and full of love. My foster family says I’ve filled their home with so much joy, and I’d love nothing more than to do the same for you. 🥰
👇 A few things about your future Valentine:
❤️ I bond deeply and love fiercely
❤️ I’m sweet, devoted, and happiest with “my people”
❤️ I’d do best in a home without small animals (those little critters are just a bit too interesting for me)
❤️ Rain? No thank you. I prefer sunshine and dry paws.
If you’re looking for a best friend who will be loyal beyond words… a protector, a partner, a heart-guarder… I’m your girl.
Will you be my forever Valentine? ♾️
Love,
Aspen 🐾
We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason.
Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Our primary purpose is to assist homeless and unwanted dogs of all breeds and sizes by providing necessary health care and rehabilitation for them prior to adoption by a loving and responsible forever family. Our volunteers are the life-blood of our mission!
