This helps Mower County Humane Society with pet care costs.
Ginger Spice is a delightful purebred Pomeranian who came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Her people had long work hours and could not give the little princess the attention she needs. She weighs a whopping 4 1/2 pounds and is bouncy and friendly. Ginger has been spayed already but we'll get her a nice vet check soon. Her fee is $150.
Ginger Spice would love a home in which she will be adored. It's the Pomeranian way. A home that is familiar with these spicy little dogs would be a huge plus. They demand attention and a lot of it. Ginger has done well with other small dogs and older kids. She hasn't been around cats but we don't think she'd have an issue, as long as they don't steal her spotlight. She is a younger dog and will require regular exercise. Regular grooming is also a big necessity.
NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.
We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
