Meeko is a oneâ€‘yearâ€‘old, 50â€‘pound scruffy sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. We believe he may be an Airedale Terrier mixed with Aussie/Border Collie, and he truly embodies the best of both worlds: smart, energetic, playful, and full of charm.

He LOVES other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to romp around with. Meeko is the kind of dog who turns every walk into an adventure and every yard into a playground. He’s young, bright, and eager to learn, making him a great match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and appreciates a fun, spirited companion.

Despite all that energy, Meeko has a sweet, affectionate side and loves being near his people. His scruffy coat and expressive eyes make him impossible not to fall for.

See our website for details - all of our pets are spayed/netered, updated on their vaccinations and microchipped. We must have an application filled out and in most cases we require a home check. More about this rescue

Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets (FOCHP) is a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The mission of our organization is to make homeless and unwanted pets in Orange
County more adoptable and provide them
the opportunity to find lifelong families. This mission will be accomplished with training, grooming services, veterinary services and rescue. This program is designed to promote the adoption of shelter animals, thus reducing the number of adoptable animals that are euthanized in the Orange County shelters.
