My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Albert!
Albert is a 20-month-old little guy with a big personality. He lost one eye early in life, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He’s playful with his person, adores his walks, and absolutely lives for tummy rubs—if you stop too soon, he’ll gently reach out with his paw to ask for more!

Albert has had some early liver issues, which are now well managed with a special diet that he’ll need to stay on for life. He’s also working on an “attitude adjustment”—sometimes he can be a little spicy with other dogs or when asked to do something he’s not thrilled about. He’s already making progress with the help of anxiety medication and responds well to verbal correction. Because of this, Albert would do best in an adult-only home where he can be the star of the show and also no stairs for this boy.

He rides beautifully in the car, sleeps quietly at night on his pallet in the bedroom, and has impeccable potty manners. With daily walks to help trim his waistline and keep his mind happy, Albert will be a loyal, loving companion for the right person.
