My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLACEMENT FEE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO $400 (all placement procedures and policies apply)
TIMBER – 18 MONTH FEMALE
When my family dropped me off at the shelter I was pretty scared. Coming from a home, I was overwhelmed by the sights and sounds. I am now in a foster home with Recycled Rotts and life is much better. I did live in a home with other dogs, but I have never met a cat. I am also housebroken and crate trained, even know some basic commands. I am a pretty low keyed girl and would love a home where I can just hang out with my people. If there are children in my new family it is recommended they are over the age of 8.
If you are interested in including Timber in your home, please go to our website http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=150 for the rescue location (Recycled Rotts is located in the far west suburbs of Chicago IL), placement policies/fee, PLACEMENT AREA and the link to our online application. NOTE: We make calls to prospective adopters from our personal phones and always leave a message. If you do not answer numbers you don’t recognize, please check your messages

Recycled Rotts was founded in the late 1980's and became a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization in 1997. The rescue dedicates itself to the placement (into responsible homes) and education of the breed known as Rottweiler. Our Rottweilers come from humane societies, animal controls and owner give-ups from Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Donations are always welcome and all donations go towards the care of our rotties.
