Ruby is an approximately 5 year old Toy Poodle who is from a Mennonite puppy mill. Initially, she was a bit shy and apprehensive but after a few weeks of being in her foster home she has blossomed into quite the fun, comical girl!
She plays fetch, runs around like a mad woman when the foster parents get home from shopping, wants to cuddle up and snuggle and loves to play in the snow in the yard. She's come along so well and is quite the character.
Her housetraining is still a work in progress but she is now pee pad trained, she learned to do stairs very quickly and is crate trained. She does not bark when left alone or destroy things but if left outside of the crate, she will look for kleenex to chew, and will get into mischief. Best to crate her when left alone. She was probably never allowed to be a really puppy so is now experiencing freedom and fun for the first time.
She weighs approximately 10 pounds and is being spayed with a dental next week
