Meet our newest gentle giant 💙

This handsome boy is estimated to be around 4 years old and recently joined us after being picked up as a stray and taken to Montgomery County Animal Shelter. While we don’t know much about his past yet, one thing is already very clear — he has a heart of gold. He’s been sweet with everyone he’s met so far and does well around other dogs.

Today he’s heading to his foster home, where we’ll learn more about his personality, house manners, and all the little things that make him uniquely him. We’re excited to watch him decompress, settle in, and start his next chapter surrounded by love and safety.

Stay tuned for updates as we get to know this deserving boy better. For now, we’re just so happy he’s safe with TGPR 💙🐾

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
