Savannah – Ready for Her Forever Home 🐾

Savannah is a beautiful, sweet, and affectionate cat who loves to be petted and will happily snuggle up against your feet. She has a calm, gentle nature and does wonderfully around small children. She also enjoys the company of other cats and thrives in a multi-cat home.

One of Savannah’s favorite pastimes is basking in the sun for hours. While she’s strictly an indoor cat, she would be perfectly content relaxing on a safe deck with supervision. She loves interactive play — especially when toys are dangled in front of her — and enjoys chasing them. (She prefers her tail not be tugged.)

The Adoption Counselors will review your application and if approved will contact you to pay an adoption hold fee to reserve the animal.

Meet the Pet

All adopters need an appointment to meet the pet due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thank you for choosing adoption! We hope that you will find a pet that will become a long time member of your family! Currently we are open to visitors and adopters via appointments only. The Adoption Counselors can schedule a time to visit after reviewing your accepted application. Please visit our website to see the pets profile and apply for them electronically. All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, have rabies and distemper shots (age appropriate), and are de-wormed and microchipped. he Humane Society of Charles County (HSCC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies completely on private donations and its own fundraising abilities to operate. We do not receive any federal, state or government funding or any funds from any national animal welfare organizations to operate.

The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home.
