My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby is a stunning tabby with rich, dark tones throughout her coat — truly a beautiful girl inside and out. She would flourish in a single-cat home where she can soak up all the love and attention. Previously adopted, Abby was sadly surrendered when her family welcomed a second child — a story all too common for many pets. While she may take a few days to adjust to new surroundings, once Abby feels safe, she reveals her incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving nature. She’s looking for a forever home that will cherish her through life’s changes, a home where she’ll never have to be surrendered again. Available for adoption on 2/18.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
