If your 2026 goal is to be more active, Paddy could be your perfect adventure sidekick. Paddy loves water: streams, lakes, rivers, water hoses. Full of personality and very curious, she is always up for a hike or a walk, then eagerly cuddles and soaks all your attention. She has striking blue eyes and a gorgeous coat, weighs 38 pounds and stands 19 inches at the shoulder.
Paddy is a favorite with staff at doggie day care and plays well with the littles. She would do really well as an only dog, or with a confident dog. She is still a young, active dog and needs exercise. She may even be a good candidate for agility classes.
She is crate trained, house trained, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots. From her DNA test results she is Australian shepherd mix, Border Collie, and Husky. She was born December 7, 2023.

Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
