My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Incredibly Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl. She had a couple of accidents the first day in her foster home but now she’s doing very well with house training if you would like to be Miss Bea’s hero and the center of her world, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or Dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send you our information and application. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Email omlc7@hotmail.com to request an adoption application. Once we receive your complete application, an adoption counselor will contact you, usually within 48 hours of receipt of the application. If pet is still available, we will do a phone interview. During the adoption interview, the adoption counselor will tell you more about the puppy and our adoption processes, as well as answer any questions you have. Dogs and puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks and heartworm negative before leaving rescue. You will receive complete medical records for your dog or puppy at the time of adoption. The adoption fee varies based on age and breed and covers the cost of all veterinary care and transportation to your area. Most of our dogs are from $500 to $550. Our dogs and puppies are delivered via a USDA-certified van transport and receive an Interstate Health Certificate -- issue by a licensed, accredited veterinarian -- no more than 10 days before the dog or puppy leaves rescue. All of our dogs and puppies come into rescue from the "death row" of animal shelters in the south, or are owner surrenders or strays who were "pound bound" before coming into rescue. Adopting a dog or puppy from the One More Last Chance Rescue means you are truly part of a partnership to save the life of the dog or puppy that you welcome into your family. Our dogs and puppies are fostered at our rescue in Tennessee, meaning that it isn't possible to meet the dog or puppy before adoption. Our adoption counselor works with you to do everything possible to ensure that there is a good match between the family and the dog. We have had several hundred dogs adopted using this process and we have a very high success rate for a happy outcome. If for any reason an adoption is not successful, OMLC will work with the adopter to find the best possible solution for the dog and the adopting family. We can provide contact information for adopters in your area who can tell you about their experience partnering with the OMLC to save the life of a dog and make the animal a part of their family. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to find the right dog for your family!

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are located in TN so it is not possible to meet your new pet prior to adoption.
