My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pocket-Sized Lab, Full-Sized Love — Meet Puma!

Puma is a 10-month-old Lab mix on the smaller side, weighing about 25 pounds — the perfect compact companion. With his gentle nature and soft, cuddly personality, he’s the kind of dog who quickly becomes everyone’s favorite.

This sweet boy absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine friend, though he’d also do well as your one-and-only with plenty of love and attention. He’s friendly, social, and happiest when he has company — human or furry.

Puma is affectionate, loyal, and a world-class snuggler. He enjoys playtime but settles nicely and is content to curl up beside you afterward. At just 10 months old, he still has that adorable puppy charm while already showing a calm, loving temperament that makes him easy to live with.

He would do wonderfully in a variety of homes — from active families to quieter households — as long as he gets companionship, affection, and a cozy place to nap. If you’re looking for a smaller Lab-type dog who is sweet, dog-friendly, and incredibly cuddly, Puma could be your perfect match.

Puma will arrive in Albion, NY in mid March and we would love to have a family waiting for him!

* Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like.
