Honey is a beautiful 6-year-old Ridgeback mix with a loving heart and a playful spirit. Due to changes in her family’s health, they made the difficult and selfless decision to find her a new home where she can continue to thrive and receive the attention she deserves. Honey is as sweet as her name suggests—she adores spending time with her people, whether that’s playing in the yard, going for walks, or simply soaking up affection. She has a fun, youthful energy balanced with the maturity of an adult dog, making her a wonderful companion for a variety of households. Honey is ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and lots of tail wags to a family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them.

This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process. - Please note: The location listed in an animal`s profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.

Potential homes should be willing to fill out an online application, or one in person at our event. We interview new adopters and place pets based on their needs and the suitability of the adoptive home. We do take "reservations" on our animals prior to our events with an approved application/ reference check.

We concentrate our efforts on animals whose temperament best suite the needs of the average "family" adopter. All animals come up to date on medical care, and with 30 days of free pet insurance.
