My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Elsa didn't exactly get the best start in life. She has been bullied by other dogs & carries the scars. Including a missing eye.

Elsa is a 2 year old Boston Terrier who came to us as a result of a dog fight where a child got bitten trying to break it up. Elsa is in foster with other dogs & older kids & has done well. Because of her missing eye she can be jumpy about being approached on that side by other dogs.

The good.....
Very snuggly
Rides good in the car
Housebroken
Completely vetted
Does get along with most other dogs

The not so good....
Needs a home with children over 10 years
Is a food guarder & should be fed separately
Can become protective of her human
Needs a leash/fenced yard while working on her recall

Elsa is a very good girl who just needs a little more polishing to sparkle like the diamond she is. Would you be willing to give her that chance?

Go meet their pets

Because all our animals are kept in foster homes an appointment is necessary to visit with one of them. You can send us an email and we will be happy to have you come and meet your chosen animal.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization working with the rescue, adoption, and sanctuary of companion animals as well as and farm animals. The dogs and cats we have come from either other rescue groups which have run out of room, high kill shelters on their "death day", or from private owners.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible and all monies raised go directly to the care of the animals in rescue.

We are a no kill facility but because we are a small group all our animals are held in foster homes until their forever family comes for them and appointments are necessary to visit with the animals in our care.
