My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rebel WITH a Cause 😎.png🐾.png
Meet Rebel—yes, that Rebel. But don’t worry, this guy isn’t here to cause trouble… he’s here on a mission. Rebel WITH a cause: ending pet homelessness, one cuddle at a time.
Currently crashing in a foster home (rent-free, obviously), Rebel is proving he’s more heart-stealer than heartbreaker. He’s doing great with kids, mastering the fine art of potty training, and taking his role as playtime coordinator very seriously. Toys? Yes. Zoomies? Absolutely. Snuggles? Non-negotiable.
Rebel is playful, affectionate, and has just enough spunk to keep life interesting—without the leather jacket or motorcycle. He’s the kind of puppy who will follow you around like you’re the most important person in the world… because to him, you are.
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who believes in love, laughter, and a good nap after playtime, Rebel is ready to recruit you to his cause.
Rebel is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
