My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a 12 year old Black Lab, she used to be a Farmdog before her current life as a grandmothers dog. She still acts like a puppy though, she loves to run and play in grass, mud, and especially the snow. (She's more penguin than dog...)

Lucy is loyal, loving, and sweet with people. Shes always happy to meet and greet new people on walks or at the door. Shes a cuddler, and loves to share blankets and couches with anyone willing to pet her. She loves kids, and has been a wonderful self-appointed guard dog to my little sister.

Lucy is an anxious dog, and scared of loud noises. She will often try to hide in(or make) crawl spaces where she will wait out the noise. She has not been socialized very well with other animals. She gets along well with other dogs her size, but her farmdog past means she still sees small animals as prey or vermin to hunt. I would not recommend housing her with small dogs or cats.

Lucy does best with someone around to dote on her, or her to dote on them.
