Meet Emberlyn — a true Burning Beauty ~ Emberlyn’s name literally means “burning beauty,” and it fits her perfectly. This 3-year-old longhaired tortoiseshell has a warm, radiant soul wrapped in soft, flowing fur. She’s gentle, affectionate, and absolutely thrives on human love. Emberlyn was discovered during a TNR project, born into a cat colony created by feeding without fixing. Luckily for her—and for the family who will someday adore her—it was clear right away that she was social, friendly, and meant for life indoors. Thanks to caring advocates, she was placed into foster care so she could finally get what she deserves: a real home.
Personality Highlights:
Loves pets and chin scratches (they’re her weakness)
Shows happiness by rolling onto her back and offering her belly
Sweet, calm, and people-oriented
A comforting presence with a quiet sparkle
Emberlyn is fully vetted and ready to go to her new fur-ever home! She is:
Spayed
FeLV/FIV negative
Vaccinated (rabies & distemper)
Microchipped
Treated for fleas and parasites
Emberlyn is the kind of cat who doesn’t just live in your house—she settles into your heart. If you’re looking for a loving companion with beauty, softness, and soul, Emberlyn is ready to glow up your life.
Our standard adoption fees are $99 for adult cats and $150 for kittens. Kitty's adoption fee covers spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age-appropriate distemper vaccines, FeLV/FIV combo test, flea treatment, microchip & registration, and dewormer.
We believe that kitties need a feline friend! For their health and happiness, we highly recommend that kitties be adopted in pairs. If you adopt more than one kitty, you will receive a discount of $25 per kitty. Previous adopters will receive a $25 discount on their new kitty.
If this will be your first kitty, we suggest that you check out this site for a lot of important information: Cat Adoption Checklist. People think cats are easy pets, but they are very unique and there is a lot to learn. There is a lot of information online, and you are always welcome to ask us our advice.
You'll want to make sure you have all the basic supplies before you bring a baby home: nutrious food, bowls (not plastic), litter, litter pan, litter scoop, toys, scratchers & cat trees, nail clippers and a cat carrier.
