Personality
River is a strong, healthy, and energetic puppy with a sweet and obedient nature. Like any young pup, he’s full of life and always ready to play. He’s especially agile and intelligent—classic traits of his breed mix—and absolutely loves playing with balls and rope toys. His favorite activities include eating, playing with his siblings, and exploring the world around him.
River gets along well with both younger and older dogs and is very friendly with children. It’s currently unknown how he does with cats.
About River
River’s story began in Salto, Jalisco, where he and his four siblings were found abandoned inside a plastic bag. After receiving a call for help, we rushed to bring them to safety. Following a period of quarantine and veterinary care, River and three of his siblings survived and began to thrive—though sadly, one pup did not make it.
River has since grown into a happy, healthy, and spirited young dog.
River is currently waiting in Mexico for a family to make a trial commitment so he can travel to Washington and find his forever home.
