My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT URGENT URGENT !!! We just received this very urgent email about this beautiful little girl currently in a California shelter , she came in as a stray on 12/23/25 and she is not doing well in the shelter environment. She is very afraid and fearful but when with dedicated volunteers she melts into a pup that craves affection and attention, she was tested with multiple other dogs and is rather submissive but open to eventually explore. She is still a baby at only an estimated two years ( possibly younger, the shelters always get that wrong ) and only 44 pounds. To us she looks like a yellow lab mix. However she is scheduled to be euthanized because she is so scared. PLEASE PLEASE HELP WE NEED A FOSTER FOR HER ASAP.FOSTERING SAVES LIVES. PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL 360 2580702. Simonepetlover1@aol.com.

More about this rescue

I've been an animal lover and activist all my life. I use to live in Southern California and had a pet supply store from 1995 to 2010 where we only had rescue animals for adoption. I was one of the very first to apply this concept of getting animals out of high kill shelters and finding them good homes. In those 15 years I placed over 16 thousand animals. I left California in 2016 and moved to Washington. Since living here I noticed that there are not as many animals here for adoption and, knowing the situation in LA, I wanted to start rescuing again. I am home most of the time and I have a lot of knowledge about dogs.
