Although he prefers the taste of churu over any beverage, this fancy little man truly lives up to his name. Whether it be gracefully lounging or tumbling with his kitten companions, Prosecco is a perfect mixture of fun and grace. He would thrive best in a home that can offer him lots of love and maybe even a furry companion that he can play with! 🐾🐈🎇

Despite being on the fancier end, Prosecco is happy to be included in any activity and would love to join you on any adventure you may go on.

The Adoption Counselors will review your application and if approved will contact you to pay an adoption hold fee to reserve the animal.

Meet the Pet

All adopters need an appointment to meet the pet due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thank you for choosing adoption! We hope that you will find a pet that will become a long time member of your family! Currently we are open to visitors and adopters via appointments only. The Adoption Counselors can schedule a time to visit after reviewing your accepted application. Please visit our website to see the pets profile and apply for them electronically. All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, have rabies and distemper shots (age appropriate), and are de-wormed and microchipped. he Humane Society of Charles County (HSCC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies completely on private donations and its own fundraising abilities to operate. We do not receive any federal, state or government funding or any funds from any national animal welfare organizations to operate.

The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home.
