Henry is a 5 year old male with a great personality and is a big cuddler. He will "nap trap" you for hours if you let him, though he has a lot of energy and loves to play. A few months ago, I adopted Henry and a female cat. They were described as a bonded pair but the other cat doesn't respond well to Henry's dominant behavior. Both may do better in single pet homes, though Henry may do well with other cats if he can be the alpha.
Henry easily adjusted to living here but the female cat struggled. Recently, she had a lengthy dental procedure and since returning home, they have had to remain separated as Henry initially didn't recognize her and was hostile. The other cat seems happier in isolation, confirming my suspicion that they are not bonded and may do better apart. I can't keep them separated indefinitely and, sadly, I believe this is not the right home for these lovely cats. I'm hoping to find more suitable, life-long, separate homes for them.
