Take the Pet Home
After losing her human mom, Chrissy has been in the care of her mom’s friend while she waits to find a new home. It is so hard on dogs whose families pass on—and even tougher when they are seniors. Chrissy is seven years old, spayed, a little Maltese mix, and has many pages of vet records to accompany her to her new home. She has been around cats, dogs, and children. Chrissy does have a medical condition that might limit someone immediately swooping her up, so we will make sure we are transparent and describe that adequately.
Chrissy has an issue that causes her to “leak” urine when she is relaxed and resting (hoping I interpreted her caregiver’s description accurately.) I don’t feel we need to describe the entire thing here, but if anyone is seriously interested in adopting, we will be happy to share what we can with an applicant. She is loved with her temporary caregiver, but Chrissy would really love to have a home all of her own again.
Look for an application to adopt on our website, www.friends of Campbell County,

PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
